Ilmand & 2nd vaccine after his birth

Ilmand has taken his jab at Columbia Asia Hospital Nusajaya,Johor this morning.His paediatrician is Dr Izzuddin Poo Abdullah.His kind..talk with soft voice and gave a good consultation as well.
Ilmand recived 2 jabs (1st DTAP & Polio & Hib + 2nd Hep B together with optional vaccine, Pneumoccocal) today at his 73days birthday!!He gained more weights..5.4kg compared with 2.74kg during his birth.
He cried..hehe..cayang bucuk mommy..but he doesnt get any fever..Alhamdulillah..!!

Immunization helps to prevent diseases, most of which are serious, and children all over the world need to be protected against them.
BCG protects your child against Tuberculosis (TB).It is given at birth.
Hepatitis B is common in Asia, and infection may lead to liver problems such as cirrhosis and cancer.
DTP stands for Diphteria, Tetanus and Pertussis (whooping cough). These disease used to be common and many children have died from them.
Poliomyelitis causes paralysis of the muscles. The vaccine can be given orally or by injection.
Hib or Haemophilus influenza type b, is a bacteria that can cause serious illness in young children, particularly of the brain (meningitis), lungs (pneumonia) and ears (otitis media).
Measles is a serious infection which can cause pneumonia and brain damage.
Mumps can cause swelling ofsalivary glands, brain infection and sterility.
Rubella during pregnancy can cause serious damage ti the unborn baby.
Pneumoccocus is a bacteria that can cause serious illness in young children, particularly of the brain (meningitis), lungs (pneumonia) and ears (otitis media). Your child will receive 1-4 doses depending on his or her age, and you will be advised accordingly by your doctor.
Rotaviruses are one of the most common germs causing diarrhoe, which can be serious and life-threating. 2 doses of the vaccine are given by mouth,1 month apart.
